ANKARA-(17.12.2018) - The Minister of Interior Mr. Süleyman SOYLU said that “We performed the Operation Euphrates Shield, USA did not say “do”that. We performed the Operation Euphrates Shield, it confronted with us, and it threated us. It thought that it could dismay us with feeding the men. It tried to put forward an international siege, but thanks be to God, Turkey surpassed it”.
The Minister Mr. Soylu greeted by the Minister of Interior Mr. Şehriyar Afridi and Islamabad Ambassador Mr. İhsan Mustafa Yurdakul and other officials in Nur Khan Military Airport, which situated in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad.
After, Mr. Soylu came to Islamabad Embassy and he met with Turkish Non-governmental Organizations Representatives here.
Mr. Soylu stated in his speech that the world is going through a difficult period, from Afghanistan to Pakistan, form Africa line to Syria, from Jordan to Lebanon, there was a serious instability in the Muslim region.
Mr. Soylu emphasized that Turkey is in this great game, in this arm wrestling trying not to paste one side of his hand on the table and is working to keep alive in the country.
Mr. Süleyman SOYLU said, “We performed the Operation Euphrates Shield, USA did not say do that. We performed the Operation Euphrates Shield, it confronted with us and it threated us. Negotiations focused on border security, Pakistan police training, migration and combat against all kind of terrorist organization commonly including FETO.
